Depending on the arrangements with the captain, we frequently use the boat ramps at Lowry Park, Davis Island, Gandy, and sometimes Maximo Park in Pinellas. The time and locations vary, so please call to discuss options prior to booking.
Each booking is for a maximum of 1000 lbs. in weight, or up to 6 people whichever is greater.
You'll want to bring your own food/drinks and sunscreen. If you are booking a private fishing charter, we provide the fishing license, tackle, bait, cooler, water and ice.
That depends on the season and Florida size requirements. If in season, you can catch Redfish, Snook, Grouper, and more. We'll even fillet them for you.
Captain Jim can help with the basic fundamentals when it comes to fishing, just ask!
You can book a day/night River Cruise instead of a fishing charter and we can take you by boat to your favorite restaurants on the water, like Ricks on the River amongst others. We can cruise Downtown Tampa by boat, along the Riverwalk morning, noon, or night. We'll take your crew dolphin or manatee watching, or to a sandbar where you can take a plunge in the water, depending on availability. The sky is the limit. However, if you have guests that plan to fish please select fishing charter and embrace the views.
Whatever you want! We have kid friendly trips or tours geared for the adults. Just be sure to mention a kid friendly trip a head of time. In fact, Tampa River Tours also owns Jungle Jim's Party Rentals and plans to hold a Fishing Summer Camp for the kids to teach and provide hands on training like baiting hooks and reeling in a catch. (more info to follow on dates and times for the limited availability)
